Day 1

The Korea Press Foundation (KPF) is giving seven U.S. journalists, including me, an inside look at the upcoming presidential election in South Korea, the U.S.-Korean Free Trade Agreement and more. During the next two weeks I look forward to sharing the information with you as well as the other interesting things we do and see.

Day 1(June 11/12th): This is a travel day, and after a 14 hour flight from Chicago we get to see the Incheon International Airport, voted best airport in the world...short lines, very clean, and plenty of good service.

For the first three days we are staying at Somerset Palace Hotel in the heart of Seoul. Here's the view out my window:

Tomorrow we visit the U.S. Embassy and meet with the leaders  of the different policital parties.
